What naddie1 doesn't like about Prezzo:
Seated and served promptly. Staff were friendly. Firstly, No olives, no lasagna!! Went for the spaghetti carbonara, tasteless, as was the monk fish dish!! The kids pizza was a success, and the starts were nice, but at nearly £8 for an average starter, I have paid the same for a starter in The Ivy in Glasgow!! I think My visiting days to Prezzo are over!! Over priced menu for an under average meal. View all feedback.
Great restaurant has been here since it opened quite a lot! the staff was always really good, but they change the staff far too much, that is a shame because they get to know all the staff they change! but will continue to go here

We were regular diners in their restaurant st andrews, so we really miss the prezzo experience as this restaurant has closed. While we were Christmas gifts today, we let ourselves in for lunch and we are so glad that we did. covid Compliance’s were top notch. the restaurant is immaculate and the staff was extremely attentive. starters were the king prawn in chilli and a prawn cocktail were both delicious and just the right portion size. the service time was fast. then we had spaghetti in king's dolls and chicken roast pfeffer and balsamico wow! that's all I can say! the personal had a busy restaurant to visit and make sure that all got the right service. we can not wait to return, well done to all restaurants experience as positiw as they have. no easy task during this pandemic period. we visited this special restaurant at the beginning of the year, and by no fault of the staff it was not a great experience pure due to the restrictions that were at place and place. Today was an excellent contrast to this visit, because we admire music pleasure and a menu while we have a few drinks to treat us. Thank you. as a footnote we noticed that a table near us was quite vocal about the cool temperature in the restaurant: her personal was so professional explained about the need to ventilate to keep everyone safe. they have dealt with this negative table in a nursing and professional way, we have not heard what their answer was, but the diner seemed happy with what the conclusion was.
I consistently have a good dining experience at Prezzo, and this time was no exception. The staff were all welcoming and friendly. However, the only downside was that the restaurant was uncomfortably cold, forcing me to keep my coat on throughout the meal. I wouldn't dine at home with my coat on, so I certainly don't expect to do so in a restaurant. I understand that energy costs are high, but the temperature was noticeably chilly.
Out for the day with my family and popped in for lunch. All well to start with, placed order and starter arrived for little one. We weren’t having one so waited until she was finished. In the meantime 2 tables of people arrived and placed their orders. We sat waiting for 40 mins before getting our main meal! Meanwhile the other 2 tables that came in after us (and placed orders well after us) were served their food first. I had a young child with me and we were so hungry by the time our food arrived I couldn’t tell you if it was good or not. I ordered a coffee and the dessert menus but noticing that my order wasn’t being acted on I decided to cancel and ask for my daughters desert (previously ordered from the child’s set menus) as takeaway as my car ticket was now running out. The waitress didn’t act on this so 5 minutes later I checked again. The response was the final straw- my eldest daughter witnessing the waitress roll her eyes and pull a face to another staff member at me in clear view. It was clear to me that they were not interested in serving our food or looking after my family and I as customers. They were interested in the larger tables of people who might provide a better tip. Disgusted and disappointed I complained and was given 25% off my meal. I wasn’t bothered about getting a discount, I wanted a nice meal out with my family. I won’t be going back.
