I stopped by this restaurant on a whim and was pleasantly surprised by the warm and friendly greeting. The service was great and the homemade food was excellent, all at a reasonable price.
My friend and I really enjoyed our fish and chips lunch. Lovely crispy batter and nice chips! We sat in a sunny window (on a freezing day). The pub was nice and warm.
Good food prepred freshly for you. Very good value for money. Staff are excellent, being very attentive. Nothing is too much trouble
While on a week-long fishing trip at Wolds View, we discovered Hope Tavern just a few minutes down the main road towards Caistor. It's convenient for grabbing a few beers after fishing, and they serve delicious home-cooked meals. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service. We have returned several times and are going back tonight.
Came here yesterday with my children and partner .. loved the cozy country feel .. women behind the bar was friendly and couldn't do enough for us ..food was delicious and plenty of it .. definitely added to our lovely country holiday so thankyou
