Absolutely enjoyed the afternoon river tour. Ordered snacks ahead of time and had some adult beverages. The only down side is they didn't explain any of the sights , rather just provided a list of things you can see along the way. Still, a fabulous time. View all feedback.
What Sue Puls doesn't like about Volunteer Princess Cruises:
We took the sightseeing tour (4/6/24) and was very disappointed. The captain was very unfriendly and there were only 2 staff to wait on all the passengers. There was no narrating so we had no idea what we were supposed to be seeing. There was a paper on the table explaining things, but if you are not from Knoxville you would not know what to look for. There was no menu with what appetizers you could order, so we aske... View all feedback.
We celebrated my son's birthday by taking this cruise. Lunch was included which was good. The crew were friendly and helpful. I wish we could have lasted a bit longer and gone a little further down the river Only problem was a plumbing situation in the restroom.
Took my boyfriend here for his 25th birthday. It was a BLAST! First time I had EVER been anywhere like this and we both loved it! Only reason I leave such a low star rating is due to the cleanliness and some of the food. Let me elaborate a little. We arrived at the landing and proceeded to be sat at our table. When I sat down I immediately noticed gnats flying around. I didn’t think much of it but as the evening went on, I found myself having to swat them away to eat, that killed the mood a little. Not to mention if you use the restroom on this yacht, beware of the swarm of gnats that will come out of the toilet when you flush. For dinner, we had steak, chicken, mashed potatoes, and green beans. They never asked how we wanted the steak cooked so everyone got theirs pretty much rare. Mine was still bleeding. The chicken and mashed potatoes were AMAZING! But the steak and green beans……not so much. Since it was my boyfriend birthday, I bought the birthday package that came with a window seat, a photo, and a piece of cake for him and I to share. The cake was instead a cobbler of some kind, not a cake. So, my boyfriend wasn’t able to enjoy that part. And our window seat was up at the bow of the boat where there is railing all around so it want a very good view without going outside (see photo 3 . The mixed drink (Princess Daiquiri is AMAZING!! Definitely a must try if you like strawberries and crème! Overall, this was a great visit but we plan to visit the other one close by (Tennessee Riverboat Co. for our Anniversary, it seems more up to date. I’ll make sure to let yall know how that one is! #notrudejusthonest
The cruise was beautiful. Would have want it to be a little longer, but it was worth it.
The food and drinks were amazing. The staff and captain were friendly. Such a great experience!
I wanted to go on a big cruise for so long, but wasn’t able to. I figured this was just a prep for that one day and the experience was wonderful. They were quick to serve my drinks and were friendly. Captain Chris showed me and my little the wheel and buttons to drive! So cool and what a beautiful interior!
