Jackie's Dream - West Knoxville

I went in and ordered a veggie plate. Pintos, slaw, collard greens, and yams... The food was straight out of the can. It just wasn't good y'all, and the slaw was all mayonnaise. No vinegar or sugar, or salt and pepper.. Just lack luster at best.. I mean, if you don't know good food it's probably good, but it's well below par for me, so I won't be going back.

Storefront, family-owned place with excellent food, reasonable prices, attentive and friendly servers, and no fancy pretensions. If you're looking for fancy, not your place, if you want to eat well and enjoy it, absolutely stop on in

This restaurant is a must for anybody that loves good food. The absolute best, hot chicken, catfish, etc..

AMAZING! So good! We ate there yesterday based on reviews alone. We are traveling from Michigan on our way to Pigeon Forge and stopped for lunch. Was not disappointed. Everything was top notch. The service, the delightful owner Jackie, and the food we can't stop talking about. The area was a little run down and I heard them say they were relocating or getting a new building, I'm so happy for them. Do not let looks be deceiving because inside is a wonderful meal and absolutely beautiful people. If we were local we'd be back!

Food is over the top good and service is excellent. What more could you ask for?
