Soccer Taco - West Knoxville

Very tasty! I found the name confusing. It is a great Mexican restaurant with an amazing list of tequilas.

The salsa was really good but the food is just ok. The service we received was terrible. There are lots of choices for Mexican food in Knoxville that are better.

I took a friend for lunch....1 sweet tea, 1 cocktail, 1 lunch portion carnitas, 1 lunch portion chicken fajita tacos. $58.00 before tipping!! It was not busy at about 1:45 pm. There was 1 party of 8-10 people having a birthday meal, and we were seated right next to them. It probably inconvenienced those people as they made it known by speaking about it amongst themselves.....so I chose to remain seated there!! The ms. Barbie hostess projected pure negativity, but our server was extremely professional, positive, and friendly....so shout-out to her!!! Parking: Had to park under a low hanging tree branch that drug across the top of my vehicle..no biggie. The parking lot is shared with other businesses, so streetside parking was more accessible. Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible and they have outdoor seating as well.

Poor service and theft from server who changed the amount of the tip I left via credit card. We stopped in for a beer and a couple tacos and received the worst service I can recall...certainly not worth the 40% tip that the server gave herself. When my credit card provider alerted me to the egregious tip, I called and spoke with the manager who didn't seem to think it was a big deal that the server changed the tip amount that I left. Its unfortunate because we did enjoy going there from time to time but certainly won't be back. Beware and check your credit card statement after dining at this establishment...some servers are unethical.
