I’m really shocked at all the positive reviews. My experience was not similar. Ordered the Carne Asada, 2 tamales, and a house special. Carne Asada was overcooked, low quality, and had zero flavor. The refried beans tasted like they were from a can the rice was just okay. The tamales I ordered were so bad I had to send them back. The salsa and red sauce that was on a few items all tasted incredibly acidic and had a very dark red color. Assuming the tomatoes came from a can as well. We did order a few specialty items from their Venezuelan menu and the items were pretty good. Atmosphere is alright. My partner and I both felt the food was lackluster, thrown together on the plate and did not use fresh ingredients. I’m thankful for the server who removed the tamales from the bill as I only took 1 bite and could not finish. We both left the uneaten food and I noticed several other patrons leaving their leftovers as well. A family even came in while we were eating and were being seated and changed their mind and left. We will not be back. A total waste of $75.

I’ve been coming to Pelanchos for more than a decade and I have to say that I don’t think I have ever had a bad experience here! The food is always hot, fresh, and delicious. The wait staff have always been friendly and accommodating. I have had a few instances with the restrooms not being very clean! Overall, a great place for real good food and great service!

The atmosphere was great, the service was spot on, and the food was good, I had the brisket tacos, which were cooked well, however... it felt like something was missing. The chips and salsa were average, which is fine, but really felt like the tacos needed some sauce or something. I'd recommend trying them, hopefully the rest of the menu has that little bit extra.

Food could've been better..wasn't impressed with service..waitress was a bit rude and acted if she was doing us a favor by being there!! Was 1st time there!!
