Henhoc Deli Butcher - West Knoxville

Sorry guys but I just don’t see it. The selection was poor, the meat was expensive, the dry aged beef we had was tough and chewy. Really unimpressed and it’s too bad because Knoxville needs a good butcher shop.

Every lunch item they offer is clearly thought out and tested to ensure a great product. The steaks are incredible. The Scottish salmon is one of the best pieces of salmon I’ve ever had. The guys are great about offering advice and tips for how to cook different items and are super welcoming. If you’ve not grabbed something from here you are missing out!

Wow so I read a lot of great things and decided I needed to come in for myself. I have this as a place that I wanted to go for one year and was finally in the vicinity to go. I am a little disappointed I really wasn't that impressed with my j chicken wings and I also had a pastrami and swiss on rye and I found the meat to be very Smokey and not very flavorful except for the smoke. I brought home some hot dogs that are made there, and some salami. I am going to give that a try and I'm hoping that I will totally change my mind. If so I will be back if not well enough said
