I spent one night with my puppy here and had a wonderful experience. We received a warm welcome, and our room was spacious and very clean, conveniently located on the ground floor near the fire exit, which made it easy for my dog to go outside at night. The Saturday evening entertainment was a lot of fun, and we enjoyed a great package from the pub. Breakfast was also very nice. Overall, nothing was too much trouble... View all feedback.
Great friendly pub. great food. personal customers are exceptional. they have to visit if they don't.
Stayed for 4 nights with my husband and our small disabled dog couldn't have been better room was clean and comfortable the shower and bathroom were good Christine cooked the best breakfast we have ever had and she is really friendly the only niggle we had was we booked for a meal for Friday night with friends and was told our dog wasn't allowed in the dining room on a Friday which is ok but she was with us when we booked and no one mentioned this, they are having problems getting permanent staff which is a problem in the area but have resolved this by having various takeaways on a few evenings to eat in We would definitely stay again
On the day I parked overnight in my motorhome. They had no chef so I couldn't buy a meal. They did allow for me to park overnight without paying. I did but a Yorkshire pudding wrap from a trailer van in the car park.
We had a great stay here room was a great size very clean and had everything we needed as a family in it. Very nice staff from booking in to the bar staff and the breakfast was spot on a great place to stay.
Nice friendly pub. Unfortunately, we missed the food serving time, so can't comment on the food but the menu looks good and reasonably priced!
