This is a great spot for catching up with friends over a meal. The Game of Thrones Rack of Lamb was fantastic, as were the charcuterie options. The staff is friendly and the chef is willing to cater to any requests. The apple beignet wasn't up to par, but the chef made it right promptly. My only suggestion would be to add a cocktail menu to their offerings. View all feedback.
What Merle Padberg doesn't like about The Guild:
I would come for the corn bread. Prices are a bit out of alignment with the food items and the difference between a small plate and large is very confused. There was promise but I'm not delivering at this price point. View all feedback.
I would like to review the fabulous meal that my man and I shared in the yellow, but I can't quite literally. we have a reservation for 17:00 clock, and arrived a bit early (4:55) and we have waited. to about 5:30 o'clock. it never opened. we called the restaurant 3 times. Nobody picked up. we have checked online to make sure we were at the right place. we went back to see if we were in the wrong place. no one was there. so much I wish I could give a glowing review, I did not support it, and think it's pretty bad business sense to let people book reservations if they don't plan to be open.

Nothing special. The location is really great, but the food and embience left a lot to be desired.
I found the Guild by googling restaurants in the area. I read the current reviews and it sounded like The Guild was going to be perfect for us. It exceeded our expectations. My husband couldn't believe that I found it. We were greeted immediately, offered two choices for a table and promptly served Mimosa's and excellent coffee. My husband enjoyed the Lamb Chop Benedict and I had the Green Eggs and Ham. The flavors were perfect. The decor was charming. It was a friendly atmosphere with families all around, but quiet enough that we were able to have our own conversation. We don't live nearby, but plan on returning the next time we are in the area to try some of the other food choices.
The food was excellent all around although the prices were a bit high for the size of the meal. The service was not so great. It took 20 minutes for the waitress to take our order and waters were not brought to the table for a good 40 minutes. The waitress served the wrong meals to people. They were different types of benedicts so they looked similar so everyone started digging in and two people got the wrongs meals. They didn't have the bleu cheese that we ordered for our charcuterie board and it took forever for them to replace it with something else. The food was very rich and heavy but yummy. Would go back even though the service was slow.
