Sushi on the Srtip. I like that I can walk across the street and have good sushi and at a reasonable price on the Sunset Strip. I have tried their Ramen 'good ', Spicy Tuna 'okay ', Chicken Teriyaki Lunch Box 'Great ' I have heard that their Spicy Tuna Bowl is good, but haven 't had the chance to try that. We (the team) here at Urbanspoon enjoy having lunch at Ta ke

I had an amazing dining experience at this family-owned restaurant. You can truly feel the love and pride of ownership in every dish. We sampled a variety of items including gyoza, salmon skin roll, hamachi, and mushroom miso soup (which was extra delicious). Everything was fantastic and the family members working there were so kind. This is a traditional Japanese restaurant, so don't expect Nobu-style service. It's important to learn and respect the traditions of the restaurant in order to fully appreciate the dishes.
I discovered there is parking in the back after approaching the front door. The interior of the restaurant is quite small, so it may get crowded on weekends. The menu is limited aside from a large selection of sushi, but the dishes are well-prepared and the portions are satisfying. The eel bowl and tuna roll were the best I've ever had. While it is a bit expensive, so I can only dine here on special occasions. Located between Beverly Hills and West Hollywood, the prices make sense. I would definitely like to return and sample more items from the menu.
I thought the bad reviews would throw me off, but this place is amazing. Awesome authentic tasting food
