Contribute FeedbackDespite some mixed reviews, the restaurant seems to offer a unique dining experience with a focus on steak frites and a secret sauce that has impressed many patrons. The concept, inspired by a popular Parisian eatery, has loyal supporters who appreciate the simple menu and well-cooked meals. While some diners found the portions lacking compared to the original location in Paris, others enjoyed the authentic flavors and friendly service reminiscent of the European counterpart. Overall, the restaurant seems to cater to those looking for a taste of France in LA, offering a pleasant dining experience for those who appreciate the classic steak frites dish.
I leave such a low rating because I had confirmed reservations (via opentable) for a party of 8 on Saturday 6/24 at 19:00. that was for a birthday dinner. at the arrival the restaurant was completely closed. we waited for 30 minutes while we try to find scramble and alternative restaurants in the opposite, which could immediately record our party, but as they can imagine that was very difficult when considering that it was Saturday night. I have already eaten here and food/reception/service was good, but the fact that there was no indication at all that the restaurant was closed was a great inconvenience and disappointment. both the open table list and the restaurants actual website and the phone message said that the restaurant was open, so not sure what happened here.
The system accepted and confirmed the reservation for 7, but when we arrived, the restaurant was closed for the whole day?!
Several people have told us that this is a good place to go, but at least in the evening we went that was not the case. that was decent. the sauce was normal. the french were so tender, and they were made of several deserts on the menu. for a restaurant that only makes a court if this court is not exceptional, what is the point to go there.
Since opening, the restaurant has shown improvement in both the food quality and service. During our last visit, the experience was almost as good as dining in Paris, although the ambiance was lacking. Unfortunately, on our most recent visit, the food quality had significantly decreased to the point where it was inedible. We had high hopes for this restaurant, but I don't think we will be returning.
Way too expensive for what it was. Are in the restaurant in Paris last. Steak was chewy here. They were lined up to get into restaurants in Paris. We won't be back
