A while back, my friends and I found ourselves with a bit too much food when we were upsold on an entrée (we were looking for a small appetizer but ended up with a huge seafood platter meant for four). We brought it up gently, and they adjusted the bill for us without any fuss. View all feedback.
What Rosalia Lind doesn't like about Amarone Kitchen Wine:
A small family run Italian neighborhood restaurant on Sunset Blvd. If you sit outside, it is the former parking lot before Covid. The food was interesting. My friend had the calamari and has had that in probably 200 restaurants in his life. It was $17 and it was served without breading and it was super small 7 pieces of calamari. Each piece probably 1/2 inch. Embarrassing actually. I had for the entree the rigatoni w... View all feedback.
Soo good. This little gem on the Sunset Strip has gone unfortunately unnoticed by me for years. If you have the extra money, make a reservation and prepare yourself for an amazing experience. The tiny magical kitchen has one perfect chef that prepares Italian like I have never had before. The food and service is impeccable. If you sit in the front, make sure you wonder up the back stairs .
Exceptional!. Amarone Kitchen Wine is probably one of the best Italian restaurants I have been to outside of Rome. The restaurant is very small (seats about 33) and intimate (great for dates). Service is fantastic and the waiters are constantly aware of their guests. The food is extremely fresh and light. The friend zucchini blossom special was absolutely divine creamy, lightly crisp and extremely flavourful. The pappardelle with porcini was exquisite the pasta was perfectly al dente, the sauce coated each strand at a perfect ratio and the mushrooms were firm and bursting with flavour. Friends had the grilled calamari, pappardelle with prosciutto, linguine with seafood, the lamb, cauliflower soup and everyone raved about their dishes. I loved this place and recommend it to everyone! You will not be disappointed!
Sublime stuffed zuke blossoms. Complex citrus in the sauvignon blanc, subtly dressed pear salad, hearty, balanced orecchiette with lamb sausage, warm, cozy atmosphere

The food was 5 stars and the service was on site. The owner was a bit rude after we did not order wine and were not interested in interacting with us after this point. But if you buy wine, you will be treated like a king. I also didn't like him being the buyer, because we had a very nice server that brought us food and drink.
