Behold the gorgeous hanging plants and the lush and welcoming entryway. 40 Love is quite literally an oasis in this section of La Cienega and today it served us well. The host at the front was absolutely wonderful, so gracious and helpful. We adored the beautiful patio space as we enjoyed some beverages. Perfect respite on a busy and hot day. View all feedback.

This restaurant has a serious pest problem. While I was dining there, a large flying cockroach startled me and even landed on our table and booth. The staff didn't address the situation properly; instead of offering to comp our meal, which I believe they should have, they only suggested boxing up our remaining food, which felt contaminated by the presence of the roach. Friends from St. Louis had flown in and wanted to watch a Cardinal game at 40Love. Management was very accommodating and changed the channel on 4 TVs, so we could have the surround experience. Sophia, our server, could not have been nicer. She was very helpful with drink and food suggestions and she never steered us wrong. The cheeseburgers were amazing! She also suggested a pineapple rum drink that was very refreshing. When I said that I wanted a hot dog, she even suggested pairing it with a local brewery’s pineapple and apricot beer. 4 women thoroughly enjoyed this “sports bar”.
Best place to comfortably watch a game. Sound is on, seating is comfortable, great food, great cocktail menu and solid liquor selections. Place gets crowded for big games so reservations help. Been here 3 times now and like the vibe hard to find a nice sports bar like this

Nicest sports bar I've ever been to, with the best roasted chicken (super moist! All the staff were extremely attentive and nice. Good cocktails. Plenty of.comfortable seating and cozy patio.
