Mario's is obviously a labour of love. We found out towards the end of dinner that some waitstaff had called in sick; the solo remaining waiter remained energetic and did his best to tend to everyone; sure some things took a little longer, but he didn't let his energy down all night. Suggested to us as we had enjoyed lunch at their Mexican restaurant a few doors down. And we were NOT DISAPPOINTED. A small menu, designed to be shared, and absolutely S.ensational. Generous serves. The Anchovy Bread and the Scampi as Entre signalled the EXCELLENCE in the kitchen in terms of design, presentation and flavour. Wow. Main course was the Prawn Paste. WOW WOW WOW.... matched with their sourdough (based on a 180year family yeast) ..... LOTS OF WOWS. Convinced to try Dessert, one shared by two. Did not disappoint. And a digestive . We left the choice of wine to their wait staff, superbly matched to the above. In short, a fabulous dining experience. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. We shall return. Mark and Theresa

I like the fact the menu was small but still a nice variety , the food was delicious. The staff where friendly and attentive.
Very limited menu, staff were very friendly enough. we have gone to an end.
