It is so exciting to be able to eat croissants, especially chocolate croissants from this sweet bakery offers bunch of vegan options. And they are not the best I ever had, but brought home and warmed a little in the oven they really hit the place. Pretty delicious! The vegan mushroom cake and vegan sausage roll are good again, they will not put the world on fire, but will completely satisfy. (The pastry on the sausag... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Farine Artisan Bakery:
Had the vegan sausage roll and vegan mushroom pie. Both tasted good, with soft pastry and flavoursome fillings. The sausage roll was very peppery, which was nice but not for everyone. Still, it’s awesome to be able to have a bakery pie and sausage roll! The majority of their vegan options aren’t clearly marked vegan. Will be coming back to try their croissants. View all feedback.
Delicious pastries and friendly staff that can point to the vegan options
Do not recommend. I specifically asked which items were vegan but they got the order wrong! I have called and messaged but they haven’t replied.

As a Frenchman I visit this store every time I am in town for everything that is the Viennoiserie (crebs and stuff) and desserts (pies and cakes).
I had heard about the almond and pistachios Croissant, which I was very striving to try. I'm pretty sure it wasn't baked this morning, it needed to be heated, but then it was perfectly delicious with coffee for breakfast. Not all employees seem to be informed about the vegan options. Another day I dived and told me that they were sold out because the upper shelf of the cake warmer was empty. The next day I found out that the upper shelf of another cabinet, full of tarts, was also all vegan. Some articles are marked “vegan” and others have so carefully checked or missed the icon! I stopped in Brisbane last morning. I saved the mushroom cake for lunch on the plane, which was a mistake! The “Grosse” cooled and congealed so that I have eaten mushroom-like, sparsely seasoned jelly with a few large pieces of mushroom. I honestly don't know if this had eaten much better hot. Great Miss! Had more luck with a selection of sweet tarts. Lemon Curd had a good taste, but texture was a bit too firm and tough, could have been softer and smoother. The pastry on it was a little soggy. Apples and almonds had more delicious biscuit base, nuts, “Buttery” Frangipane filling and chew dried apples above. Big hit! I brought home the chocolate and manderin cake for my husband. He said the chocolate biscuit base and the goose top was delicious, but the citrus filling was a little too tart for him. Can absolutely recommend the croissants and almond-based cakes and try more sweet and hearty options at the next visit.
