Lovely garden centre very Christmassy indeed , stopped for a cuppa and cake , ordered quite quickly but took along time for three teas a coffee and cakes to arrive more than fifteen mins. But staff were friendly we will return and for a meal... View all feedback.
What S W dislikes about Engine Room:
Visit here every few months bit disappointed today. Paid £12 for a salad, requested no mayo told not possible! When it arrived consisted of half a dozen leaves and a large dollop of tuna mayonnaise. Certainly not worth the money. On a positive note cakes look amazing and my friend’s meal of a club sandwich was much better value. Maybe a little more attention could be given to the salads! We were here for a very sad occasion, a funeral, but I cannot praise the food highly enough, and the extremely helpful and considerate staff.
Disappointing, breakfast luke warm, poorly presented and poor service. Would not eat at this place again.
The worst breakfast ever. Ordered the full English, arrived with no sausage, was told given extra bacon…my wife ordered the vegetarian, it was swimming in oil needless to say both sent back…I was horrified to see them cleaned up and put straight back on the pass, as yes. Resold… I got our refund and left, needless to say Will Not be returning…
Great looking place. Ordered ham egg and chips. Lovely crunchy chips but the fried eggs were on top of ham which made the ham slimey.
Popped in for a bite to eat , ending up having roast beef , veggie mushroom Brie pie roast , beef was a bit chewy apart from that all was good , free car park so you wonder round the garden at your leisure
