Great looking place. Ordered ham egg and chips. Lovely crunchy chips but the fried eggs were on top of ham which made the ham slimey.

Had a few Breakfasts and Brunches here recently with our visiting family. Good selection of lovely food/produce. Thoughtful, cheerful and calm service. Excellent breakfast today. We left very happy indeed.

Thought we would pop in for a drink and cake mid morning and we were so disappointed, coffee didn’t taste like coffee, the tea was so strong if you diluted it with milk it would have been cold and the lemon and lime tray bake was so thin, a slice was less than 1/2 centimetre thick and the only flavouring was in the icing, and at £3:15 a slice not worth the money. Will not be going back in a hurry. My husband said the only good thing was the cookie!

My husband and I stopped by for breakfast. I ordered the avocado on toast with poached eggs; my husband ordered the eggs Benedict, and two cappuccinos. When our breakfasts arrived, I had two pieces of cheap sliced bread, smeared with the meagrest amount of avocado but worse still, the poached eggs we’re literally rock solid hard; I could hardly cut through them. My husband’s eggs were the same. Solid. Now, I don’t like an undercooked egg but the whole point of poached eggs is that the centre’s are at least a bit soft; which was the point of both the dishes we ordered. Sorry I’m usually of the school of “if you can’t say anything nice then don’t say anything at all” but these cafes/restaurants are quick enough to take our money then can’t even cook an egg; when they advertise a breakfast menu. Very poor. Added to the food issue, our cappuccinos tasted odd with a strange twang so couldn’t drink those either. Definitely won’t be returning. They could see what they served us was clearly poor quality and badly cooked; it shouldn’t need pointing out!
