I did... read more I visited the cafe yesterday for the first time in a couple of years and quickly remembered why I had stayed away. The staff were very unhelpful and rude. I didn't realize at first, but it was the same woman from last time who was rude to me, and once again I left feeling upset. I can't understand how she is still working there. I can't recommend this place to any of my friends. It used to be such a nice place. What a shame.

The staff was welcoming, the atmosphere cozy, and the food delicious. We definitely recommend a visit to Roadford Lake Cafe.

Very nice cafe, very clean and staff very polite. Only bad side is the parking charge, only £2.50 at time of review, don't these water companies earn enough without having to screw pensioners and the hard pressed, no concession for the disabled either. If you try to use the parking App displayed on the board you will be disappointed as no signal, also the machine rejected my money, but the young lady in the cafe was pleased to take payment, seemed a bit miffed when I asked for the receipt. Best keep all parking receipts these days with too many Dick Turpin Car Parking companies just waiting to pounce on the unwary?

Curry tasty but very small portion, missing the garnish, naan hard crispy. Icing on cake was the rice drowned in smoked paprika (WHY!! which made virtually inedible.

The latte was also terrible - either the milk was off or the quality of the beans was poor. It was undrinkable. It's a shame because the setting is lovely.
