Sapore Italiano - West Cape May

I've been visiting this restaurant for five years and have always enjoyed its lovely atmosphere. However, this time, the music was quite disappointing. They played contemporary pop music aimed at younger audiences, and I didn't recognize a single song. As I'm 60 years old, it seemed the majority of the other customers were around the same age or older. When we choose a fine dining experience, we anticipate a more relaxing ambiance with music like Italian tunes or classical pieces. Unfortunately, this disrupted the usual experience I have while dining here. The food was good, though not exceptional, and the staff was wonderful and attentive. The tables were elegantly set with cloths, but the choice of music didn't fit the fine dining atmosphere we expect.

There are reasons why Sapore was very busy on a Thursday in October at 5:45 p.m: Terrific food, great service, and a beautiful atmosphere. In addition, the portions are large and the prices are very reasonable. Beyond that....IT'S A BYOB!!!!! My wife and I had another outstanding dinner at Sapore last night. We have dined there many times and the food and service are consistently excellent. We look forward to returning again soon.

We celebrated my wife's birthday at Sapore Italiano, and it was the perfect choice once again. Our favorite table on the porch was ready for us—a lovely spot that was both quiet and romantic. The service was excellent, and the food exceeded our expectations, much better than during the summer rush, which was already quite good. The seafood was fresh, and the portions were generous. Each dish was bursting with flavor, cooked to perfection, and served hot. My wife had some minor adjustments to her selections, and they were gladly accommodated, leaving her very satisfied. Sapore Italiano is our go-to restaurant for special occasions, and the 45-minute drive south is definitely worth it. You can't go wrong here. Plus, the BYOB policy is a fantastic bonus that we truly appreciate.

Food was good in the past it was exceptional. We were a little disappointed. Also, we went to celebrate a birthday which we noted in reservation and they didn't mention it at all.

Good was excellent as usual. Edmir was attentive and paced the dinner perfectly so we could visit with friends. We did not rushed and received our food in a timely manner piping hot. Every entre was perfect and our visiting guests were so thankful that we brought them to Sapore for dinner. Thank you for a great dining experience again.
