Great dinner...I had the Sunday Dinner which includes Meatball, sausage and roast pork with pasta and my wife had the shrimp, crab with garganelli...both dishes were excellent and we took enough leftovers for another meal!! BYOB too!!!
The food is great. It is rather loud in there or else i would have given the ambience a 5. They have the best octopus! 4 people all had a good meal. A salad and one appetizer came to 170$. It is a byob
Our dining experience at Panico's was wonderful. The meatballs were the best I've had, the pasta sauce was very flavorful and the eggplant pesto entree was excellent. The menu was varied to please all diners.
We waited a half hour for our reserved table to be ready. Half of our table was seated on a bench connected to the wall. We were a table of nine. My son, husband and I sat on cushions that did not provide any support. Rather we sunk so low that the table was too high for each of us to properly eat our food. It was uncomfortable and unexceptable. We couldn't understand why they have kept this bench for seating. Chairs would work fine, just like the table that was immediately to my right.
We've been visiting Panicos for many years, but we were disappointed during our most recent visit. The rigatoni with vodka and chicken was not up to par; the chicken pieces were large and overcooked. It would be better if they used smaller slices. I didn't find that the fried basil enhanced the flavor at all. The pizza was just okay and slightly overcooked as well. On the bright side, I would definitely return for the house salad.
