great burgers, cold beer, great staff, fun atmosphere! UPDATE I have tried shantytown roughly 7 different times in the last year... it's just not the same. The burger patties are so dry and overcooked. The tots are barely cooked and just mushy. We walked in on a Friday and had to wait maybe 10 minutes to get seated at the bar. Our drinks were poured and delivered quickly and our order taken not too long after. It was a busy Friday night so our food took a little bit of time but we played some pull tabs and conversed with some other patrons. The burgers and sides came out just how we ordered them!! We will definitely continue to eat here.
This place is amazing. Best fried pickles we have had. Staff is a hoot!

Awesome place with great food and workers. The owners are absolutely amazing!! Definitely a place to check out.
We LOVE Shantytown! A Bloomington staple! The new owners are great, the food is still as amazing as ever! We love all the staff and it’s great they have a pull tab booth now!
