I've visited the Monty on about 6-7 occasions now. Predominantly on Saturday evenings and usually with 3-4 people in our group. On every occasion the establishment had exceeded our expectations. Came in for trivia last night we were all squished in like sardines I could hear the people behind me discuss their answers/one of them kept farting and it hit our table hard. I got the cheap fish and chips the salad was the best part. Fish was chewy. Friend said her chicken wings tasted like cold chicken fat. Ended up eating my partners chicken curry which was nice. Great atmosphere, service was friendly quick and the beers were a great price. big shout out to the irish gentleman with glasses that works there, top notch banter! Will be coming back for sure.
This review is for the bar only <br/ <br/ A wonderful surprise. My wife and I were looking for somewhere to start our dinner dates, and this proved to be a perfect stop. The decor is a nice change from your neighborhood rowdy pub, and had nice seating and music. I was immediately concerned that a place with such nice decor was going to leave me broke and thirsty. But No! They serve beer in pints not just schooners. And what is more.<br/ <br/ One pint of wild yak and one gin and tonic came to a little over 17$! Great chill atmosphere and service. The food was amazing too. It has become our new local. Great place to kick back with a few bevs or go for dinner. Highly recommend.
Great meal and great choice of beer! I went this place at christmas lunch. Music was a bit loud but still ok. Forgot to take a pic of octopus dish, that was really nice too.
Great atmosphere and food! Ordered the smoke wagyu burger with a side of sweet potato fries and was impressed with the portion size. Well priced meals with friendly staff. Highly recommended!
