What Yu Z doesn't like about 50 Yard Line:
Local bar in West Babylon. Located in a small strip mall. Has a single pool table in the back along with darts, Quickdraw and Karaoke. To use the pool table is $1 per game or $5 for half hour. This bar sometimes hosts pool matches, where some teams in a pool league comes and competes. My friend plays in one such team and I 've come here and watched them. Drinks here are fair priced and pretty good overall. People her... View all feedback.
I've never visited a sports bar that didn't show any sports. With the Stanley Cup happening, I was shocked to find that they weren’t broadcasting the game and even more surprised by their refusal to try to put it on. If you're planning to come here to watch a game and enjoy a beer, this isn’t the right place for you. Also, a pint of Bud Light costs $6, which I find a bit excessive.
So let me tell you about 50 Yard Line Sports Bar . This is a sports bar that accepts credit cards as payment and shares it 's parking lot with neighboring businesses. As you enter, you 'll notice that the bar is positioned in the center of the room in a shape. They have about 4 beers on tap, with plenty of bottled beer, canned beer, hard liquors, and wine in-stock. They also have a limited selection of food to pick from, such as Hot Dogs, Peanut Butter Jelly Sandwiches, Pizza, and Pretzels, with a variety of drink specials. They offer an ATM, 4 Arcade Games such as Cards,Slots and Multi-Platform Gaming Machine, 5 Candy Machines, 3 Dart Board, Free WiFi, Happy Hour, Multiple TV 's at various sizes, Off Track Betting Station, Pool Tables, Touchtunes, and they play QuickDraw here. Occasionally, they 'll have Live Music playing such as Karaoke Night and they have separate restrooms for men and women. This place has a fun and relaxing atmosphere about it, and is worth checking out. Thanks to Kim, who was The Bartender today.
Yes this place has a great location. But beware, if you're not a regular YOU WON'T get served. Walked in on a Sunday afternoon with no more than 6 people in the bar. After 20 min the bartenders took my order (Johnny Black no less, not a cheap drink). Never got served again (plus I was trying to play Quick Draw). About an hour after I finished my drink I left (the bartenders were very involved with their friends, everyone else was ignored). I would usually buy 3-4 scotches and spend 20-30 on QuickDraw leaving a $20 tip. Needless to say the bartenders got $3 because I couldn't even get change to tip them. An hour and a half for one drink with hundreds of dollars in my pocket. Great Move 50 Yard Line!
Amazing. Jill is the best! The crowd is great and so is the beer! The atmosphere is cool
The owner, Jeff, is an incredibly friendly guy, and it’s a fantastic place to relax. I haven't been there in a while, but I plan to visit again soon.
