Great food and a friendly staff. They cater too. Try the ribs , they are awesome.
Went in to get a sampler plate to go. There was a combination of ribs, sausage, pulled pork, and pork loin. Everything was great and good portions. Beans and potato salad were also excellent. Try their homemade vinegar sauce. The sauce is a little sweet alittle tart. It tasted good with the meat, enhanced but not over powered. Staff is very friendly with knowledge of the area. Very good experience.
This BBQ joint is AMAZING! We drove over an hour to give it a try, and we'll be back. The moment you step through the door, you're family. They treated us so wonderful, and were genuinely glad we were there. The dining area has a patriotic vibe withmilitary/public servant tributes hanging on the walls. There's a cool sitting area for people waiting for orders and a spot kidshang out after school. They seated us and immediately got the toddler some fries to appease her while we decided which deliciousitems to order. We ordered the fried pickles as an app and the order was huge. They arrived hot fresh and perfect, (give them adunk in their house sauce). For meals we had a variety of proteins and everything was terrific. The sausage was high qualitywith great flavor. the Pulled Pork was succulent and made even better with their house sauce. The Tenderloin was juicy andtender. The ribs were perfectly smoked, plenty of flavor with an easy bite. If you're within 2 hours of Wesson, go to thiswonderful small town, where a friendly pit master does his magic. Oh, and don't forget the banana pudding!

What a fantastic place to dine! This was our first visit, and we definitely plan to return. We were even given a tour of the establishment, which was quite fascinating! The staff was incredibly friendly, and the food was excellent!

The ribs would be more tender and fall off the bone with a little more preparation. It's important to remove the membrane from the back of the ribs.

Dumps is a great find. The food was good and the service was with a smile. I brought my car club to Wesson for lunch this weekend. We will be back. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

These guys are the epitome of BBQ. I went in the middle of the day, where most restaurants are at their laziest. But, not only did I get my food quickly, but it was THE BEST BBQ I'VE EVER HAD! The icing on the cake, or if you will, the sauce on the ribs, was that they make their own sauce and THEY SELL IT! It's a 4 hour drive if I wanna go back, but I would go in a heartbeat! Happy 5 year anniversary, Ken. I'll be at your 10 year anniversary. That's a promise!

This small-town restaurant serves one of the best hamburger steaks I've had in a while! I enjoyed a dine-in lunch, and the prices were very reasonable, ranging from $10 to $20 per person. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all at a perfect 5 stars. I highly recommend trying their sauce and BBQ baked beans!

My husband and I came up here to the state lake to fish and was told to stop and try this place. The owner was at the door welcoming us in. The food was amazing. We got the sampler plate. The tenderloin with the dump sauce was our favorite. The service was great. He even took us on a tour of the pit. Great atmosphere and we'll definitely be coming back.

It’s been 18 Months since I’ve been there and it’s still my favorite. I drive a tour bus all over the country and it still is the best.My story is that I carried MDCC to play a baseball double header and was hungry. I called Dumps and asked if I ordered would they bring it to the road. Dump jr personally brought it to me. As I drove back to field, I was eating… the best ever bbq! I immediately posted and friends asked me about things that I had not tried. 10 minutes later Dump was knocking on bus with samples of what I had not had. He sat on bus and told me history of Dumps. I am getting a group together to drive 4 hours back down to eat. Best people, bbq, sauce, food and service
