Moe's Southwest Grill - Wesley Chapel

I used to prefer Moes over Chipotle, but now I understand and agree with the fact that they are all going out of business. I ordered a veggie bowl with lettuce as the base, but they told me after putting items in my bowl and making me wait in line that they were out of lettuce. When I handed the register worker a $20 bill, she repeatedly punched the register in an attempt to open it, which frightened me. After 3 minutes of silence and no communication, she handed me the bill back with a blank stare and said nothing. I suggested they inform other customers in line that they cannot accept cash. The three women then rudely told me not to worry and that it just happened as I scrambled for another form of payment. Overall, I will not be returning as the workers are rude and the food is terrible when they have it in stock. It's a no from me.

The restaurant was dirty, with dirty tables and a limited selection. They were out of white rice and did not know how to properly fold a burrito. Overall, it was a disappointing experience considering the location in the Shops of Wiregrass. They need to improve their cleanliness and service or they risk losing customers. I will not be returning.

This place is dirty. I tend to not want to eat at places where my arm sticks to the table. If that?s how you care for the front of the house I cannot even imagine what the back of the house looks like. I?ve worked in restaurants for close to 15 years. Iknow what a dinner rush is like. But this place has no excuse. The salsa station and drink station no way in hell would I evenattempt to eat anything there. Things just out at room temp trash everywhere, no attempt of even the simplest wipe down. Justnasty.

I have never had a worse restaurant experience in my life. I would give it 0 stars if I could. The restaurant had a lot of cross-contamination issues, as the workers wore no name tags and their aprons were filthy. The staff was incredibly rude, bordering on disrespectful. The salsa station and drink machines were in desperate need of cleaning, and the trash was overflowing. Not a single table in the place was clean. This was my first time at Moe's, and I will never go back to location 605 in Wesley Chapel again. I plan to contact Moe's corporate to inform them of the problems at this location.

I've been eating at different Moe's locations since I was a kid, most recently when I was stationed in Southern California; probably 2-3 times a week. First time I've had Moe's down here and something about both the salsas and my burrito just did nottaste the same at all. It wasn't bad, but it was definitely...off. Also none of their hand sanitizer stations worked, and themen's bathroom was busted.
