The place was also hard to get to at night (poor lighting and signage . Food: scallops were nice, the duck was the best I have ever had (absolutely delicious! but the winter berries tart was just ok. Service: very good. I'll come back again for an early dinner in summer.

On the recent visit (11.8.23) the food was okay but odd mix of flavours, especially for vegetarian food. Desserts were evidently pre made and very basic. The restaurant was also virtually empty on a peak Friday night. Overall a disappointing meal and really hope Joseph's food standards improve again. Waiting staff friendly and efficient.

Also, really appreciate the staff arranging to pick up Mum from the car with a golf buggy and returning back to the car after our High Tea. The staff were wonderfully attentive and made the High Tea super special for my mother.
