We... read more Hello, we have been regular guests since July 2020. Our regular table consists of 6 former colleagues who meet once a month and look forward to the re-sight. We like to come to the Capitol, the service is always friendly, super food and the dates fit. In the summer we have the opportunity to spend our regular table in the beer garden, which we liked so far. We hope that it is often enough for us to experience our table in the Capitol. While this restaurant is very similar to all others in Wernigerode with their offers of food and drink, it is characterized by additional dishes of fish, fowl a... read more While this restaurant is very similar to all others in Wernigerode with their offers of food and drink, it is characterized by additional dishes of fish, fowl and other meats that offer a varied choice. The food is well cooked, tasty and the accompanying side salads dressed in a slightly sweet acid dressing that is a perfect fit for the fried elements of the dish. We both cleared our plates, and the final costs were a little less than 2 other restaurants we had. The menu also had English translations, thanks to Capitol, which really helps. Service was pleasant. We had to pay in cash, this seems more common in Germany than expected. I barely use cash in the UK today.

The menu has both Germany and English and, a... read more This lovely restaurant is close to the heart of town. It has a varied menu and the quality of food was outstanding. The menu has both Germany and English and, although not much English is spoken, enough to ensure we had a very good evening. Service was very good and they coped well with our party of six and another larger party. Restaurant has a fresh, modern setting with a cinema theme.
