In addition, nice, very cozy apartments with a small kitchen unit (dishes, microwave, refrigerator) and a nice holiday apartment opposite are offered, all very, very reasonably priced. There is also another holiday apartment in the Upper Harz in Trautenstein (near Hasselfelde), which is an entire semi-detached house. You are very close to the historic town hall in the center of Wernigerode and can start many beautiful trips to the Harz from here. Breakfast is included in the price offer for the apartments. You can also have something to eat very cheaply in the evening. The boss of the house and his wife are very nice and always helpful, we can only warmly recommend everything.

We all sat at the same table and had breakfast; it was very informal and wonderful. The location is also excellent, just a short walk to the city center, train station, and bus stops. Highly recommended, and I'll go back, as my stay was too short. The overnight stay was also good.

They also offer small but lovely guest rooms with a good breakfast and, if needed, a refrigerator, coffee maker, etc. Parking is available, right in the city center. Exceptionally personal and family-run. There's been a generational change in the family, so it's no longer a pub, but a nice little café. Usually open even in winter.

In addition, they offer charming, very comfortable apartments with a small kitchenette (dishes, microwave, refrigerator), and across the street, a lovely holiday apartment, all at very reasonable prices. There is also another holiday apartment in Trautenstein (near Hasselfelde) in the Upper Harz region; this is an entire semi-detached house. It's located very close to the historic town hall in the center of Wernigerode and is a great starting point for many wonderful excursions into the Harz Mountains. Breakfast is included in the apartment prices. You can also find very affordable dining options in the evenings. The owner and his wife are very friendly and always helpful; we highly recommend them.
