Two years after our last stay, we visited Wernigerode again and took this opportunity to stop by Piazza Colombo again. While we were extremely enthusiastic back then, today's visit was sobering. When entering the restaurant around 8 p.m., the low number of guests was noticeable. The light was too bright, no table lighting, uninviting, so we asked the waiter for a wine recommendation and were each given a watery-tasting red and white version of an alcoholic grape juice. The water ordered with it, obviously from the Schickimicki Sodastream for €6, makes every Italian in his restaurant doubt his pricing policy €2-3 . But that's your own fault...it's certainly on the menu
