We came to sit outside on a sunny july evening with our adult daughters and two dachshunds. the waitress took our drink order. she was friendly, but could not guess when she was asked for the food, because she hadn't tried the food herself. we are...experienced in restaurants in local German restaurants and in the rule they get really good, authentic eating. but not here. we ordered a black carving with a spatula: a total drain over boiled spatula, maybe not fresh? the hollandaise was certainly not homemade- probably from a bottle, beside the meat were potato croquettes I know this type when I see them in the freezer in the super market! next one got a chicken breast with curry/pineapple sauce and rice. frankly, the rice and the chicken were unfortunately not bad the artificial (can onkel bens sauce really destroy the whole meal. extremely sweet and not with a hauch of real curry, but overcooked canned pieces of ananas our daughter ordering a tomato soup and a bruschetta in Germany, the local beer garden often serves honest food of good quality. but avoid this place for everything except the beer that was good.

We ordered a pork schnitzel with asparagus: A total letdown extremely over cooked asparagus, maybe not fresh? The hollandaise was certainly not homemade probably from a bottle, next to the meat was potato croquettes I know this type when I see them in the freezer at the supermarket! Next person got a chicken breast with currypineapple sauce and rice. Frankly the rice and chicken were not bad unfortunately the artificial maybe Uncle Bens? sauce really destroyed the whole meal... extremely sweet and not with any hint of real curry, but instead overcooked canned pieces of pineapple Our daughters order one tomato soup and one bruschetta the first was similar in taste to a bad Dolmio sauce I once tasted at a picnic!!! Really awful and the bruschetta was strange soggy tomatoes without taste on basic white toast bread. Frankly we were very surprised to get such a poor meal at a small town with seemingly many tourists and locals. In Germany the local Biergarten often serves honest food of a good quality... but avoid this place for anything but the beer, which was good

Fresh and good ingredients, the food was very good and the service very friendly and fast. Who hasn't got it yet. Go and convince yourself.
