The Pelayo is a super restaurant with top kitchen. The service is also super attentive, well-trained but also not intrusive. Therefore, the Pelayo is definitely worth a visit. However, the unfortunately really great criticism, is the volume. The ambience was very simple and clear, probably due to the corona. The waitresses were friendly and nice. The food not recommended. Beef in red wine sauce had to go back because it was cold. The other warm tapas were all just barely lukewarm View all feedback.

The paella was excellent, highly recommended!
The wait was far too long to enjoy our meal. We waited exactly one hour for our tapas, which we had ordered with drinks as soon as we arrived. Seriously? Not a single olive offered to nibble on like the neighboring tables, nor a kind word of patience… Our 8-year-old child clearly didn't influence the decision to prioritize our table of three. We left as soon as possible. The gratinéed mushrooms were very good. The chorizo was a tough piece of fat. The potatoes were nothing special.
