Cosy restaurant in the green, with a large outdoor terrace. The menu offers a lot of choice, for everyone there is something to do, whether a carving or a fish dish. The operators work hard and fast, were always very friendly. I like to come back, especially as the adjacent city forest offers enough space for the digestive path afterwards. View all feedback.
My wife and I were there last week in the afternoon. at the door we were already greeted unfriendly with the words we have a closed company (then you should hang out a sign) we could realize that some tables were occupied but the table left right at the door was free. the next question was how many people we are, as if we were meant to be two and whether we could get the table, we were told again in an unfriendly ton that this could not happen at all. so from 5 people it would have been possible. we had really starved and wanted not to stay long, we had stressed that. probably it's still too good.
Full points. Everything is as it should be and more. With tribal restaurant factor. Super dishes, super wines, super atmosphere and a great service. Here's the boss to touch. I recommend it with good conscience.
For the first time there are today: very good quiet location, very nice furnishings, friendly service, food was very good, good choice. We'll be back safe. A clear recommendation!
We went there for goose dinner in November 2025, and I'll start with the positives. The restaurant is in a beautiful location and has been very nicely renovated (both inside and out). I would rate the food as very mixed. The prices are rather high, but the quality didn't justify them. We ordered goose breast and leg, as well as pork tenderloin. €40 for a relatively small portion of goose is on the high side, and the meat absolutely MUST NOT be dry. But it was. The goose breast was simply bone dry, and you could see it with the naked eye. Therefore, I'm very surprised that such a plate was served—especially since the restaurant wasn't very full. Cooking pork tenderloin completely well done is just as bad. It's practically worthless. These two issues are the crux of the matter, and they were simply unacceptable. The side dishes were okay to good. The sauce was, at best, okay. I assume it was significantly watered down. My suggestion either reduce the price by at least €10, or significantly improve the quality.
