I love going to mariscos los shinalos when im craving mexican seafood dishes, my favorite dishes to order is ceviche de camaron, and the Camarones Apretalados.

I walked into this place not knowing what to expect. I went in at 5 pm, there were 3 other tables with people. Service was slow for how empty the place was. Then I realized there was only one waiter. They start you off with a small tostados topped with beans and fresh cheese. It was very good. I started with the Michelada Shinaloa, it did not disappoint. It had all the right notes of a Michelada, a hand crafted salty beer concoction. The shrimp skewers on top just elevated it. I would return for this drink alone. I ordered the Taco Governador , it had hand made tortillas crispy cheese edges and filled with a shrimp cheese, bell pepper scramble. I would have preferred more shrimp than bell peppers though. And i did need to add a bit of salt for my taste. But for 7 dollars not bad. I also ordered the Tostada de ceviche. I was fresh and delightful. Great depth in flavor. On the down side the tostada got soggy and broke after the first bite. There were very little visible pieces of shrimp in this shrimp ceviche. It was good but not worth the price tag. I will return to try more items on their menu and update my review. I should add the music is loud and hard to have a conversation, more of a late night dinner atmosphere.

If I could give this restaurant 0 stars I would gladly do so. Not minding that the food is extremely expensive and overly salty… the owner acts like a child on media. Why have a restaurant if you can’t take criticism? If you look at previous posts he whines like a child because someone simply disagrees with him, oh my don’t even look at his facebook.. don’t go here.. trust.

Extremely overpriced, service is terrible, they don’t speak English, food was bad and very small portions! Never returning!
