Caught with a mate and his wife and two kids for dinner tonight.We had the family meal for $50 plus a seniors steak, all told $65, a good value deal.Tonight was... read more Caught with a mate and his wife and two kids for dinner tonight.We had the family meal for $50 plus a seniors steak, all told $65, a good value deal.Tonight was fairly busy in the lead up to Christmas - there is a kids play area to entertain the kids if they get bored.Keep on eye out online for specials - this restaurant is also known as The Herdsman Lake Tavern.Recommended.

This proved to be served up ugly, as 2 sold lumps and a bit over done.Other half had a crumbed chicken thing I think it was a Parmie. said it was ok.But the worst thing was a group of 6 screaming girls running in and out of the play room whilst parents ignored all this and sat checking their mobile phones. not only a distraction and discomfort to other children and diners, but a hazard for the wait staff.Bar manager should have said something at least from a health and safety point.I know that this is a family place but its not a playing field and others have a right to expect a certain standard of behaviour from children if they are to taken out to eat.
