Good diner, their Seafood Chowder is what you want. It apparently has won a big Chowder Cook-off competition for seven years in a row. It's excellent! It's closed a few days a week so check their website. Parking alongside, counter, booths and tables wait staff takes orders. Prices reasonable. Lots of Beach type food, but also good breakfast and a few upscale dinner options. View all feedback.

It's been a few years since I last visited the Maine Diner. Staff and server were very nice and attentive. That said, seafood chowder was luke warm, kids chicken tenders were dry and overcooked. Breakfast all day hash and eggs was cold and not homemade. Very disappointing for a 2 hour drive. Hoping it was a bad day between lunch and dinner time. View all feedback.
The food here was DELICIOUS. There are a lot of people saying that; so, I won't belabor the point. I'll just say: eat the lobster pie and the lobster mac and cheese. Even more than the delicious food, I want to call out who delightful and friendly everyone was. Deb was our server, I think, and couldn't have been a sweeter person. No one left a glass empty or a plate unattended on our table. Anyone who passed by stopped to check on us. Such wonderful people and such wonderful food! Thank you, Maine diner! We'll be back on our next trip!
Delicious Lobster Benedict for breakfast! Pleasant atmosphere and friendly fast service.
Everything you would anticipate from a Maine diner. They are well known for some NE diner staples. Always good and dependable. I have been several times and the two excellent items I have had are the clam chowder and the blueberry pie. This place gets busy in the summer almost daily. Plenty of parking. Shoot an hour before main meal times i.e 4pm verse 5pm for dinner.
It seems nice at first but after 30 minutes of waiting the atmosphere starts to become heavy...
Food was plenty and very good. I had the two are wild and the pancakes were fantastic
