During our visit to Wells, we decided to stop for a cup of tea. We only had tea and teacake, but we really enjoyed the ambiance of the place. There were plenty of seating options, with comfortable spots on the upper floor, and if you’re in a good mood, you can peek out the window to watch the world go by outside. The service was polite and courteous, and the food was served promptly; the cakes looked delightful. We will definitely come back to try the food ourselves, as everything seemed homemade and very appealing.
The home-cooked food here is truly amazing and delicious. We enjoyed a wonderfully spiced sweet soup and a divine cheddar and ham quiche. The restaurant has a lovely sunny spot that is perfect for a bright autumn afternoon. I highly recommend it!
I enjoyed a cup of coffee and a delicious cake. The cake selection includes vegan and gluten-free options.
