My baguette sandwich took about ten minutes to arrive, while the cake came five minutes later. The food was well-presented, though the meat was lukewarm, which was somewhat disappointing. The portion sizes were adequate, and the restaurant was clean, featuring decorated walls and fairly simple tables. The clientele seemed to be on the older side. Espresso appears to be an excellent choice for breakfast, coffee, or hot chocolate—which had a lovely cocoa dusting—and cakes. The menu clearly identifies vegetarian options, including a veggie breakfast with sausage, a veggie wrap, and a Mediterranean breakfast featuring halloumi with olives, mushrooms, grilled tomatoes, and avocado. Additional options include poached eggs on toast with spinach and mushrooms or smashed avocado, along with vegetable curry and pasta.
