Moncrieffe - Wellesbourne

The rooms in the hotel are large and clean. used the cures and they were great. when we went during the weekdays, it was nice and quiet what it was exactly what we needed to relax. great place for a relaxing trip. we also had a afternoon tee that was beautiful and really sufficient for 2. we had dinner in the night we stayed and eating was brilliant! so tasty and mouthwashed! also the service was great, the staff was helpful, friendly and friendly.

My stay there was amazing and I loved the location as well as my room was fantastic too. The breakfast was spot on because of the variety of choices in what you can eat. The staff were excellent . The restaurant food in the evening was delicious and cooked to perfection but you have to understand that they are struggling with getting staff, I will say that David was amazing and Sophie who normally does breakfast was outstanding. I do feel for them . Please be less judgemental and if you need anything just ask. I would still recommend the hotel and restaurant but the only thing I would say is the bar and restaurant need to communicate more. Thank you David and Sophie.

On February 19, 2022, I spent a spa day with some friends. I'm not sure why the reviews are negative, but I suppose everyone has their own experience! The pool was warm, and I really enjoyed the steam room and sauna as well. The afternoon food was delicious, and having free hot drinks available throughout the day was a nice bonus. The service was outstanding; the staff was attentive and very friendly. We were given a nice room, which we really appreciated. The atmosphere was warm and relaxing, and we had a great time chatting in the bar area. Overall, it was excellent service!

The dinners were beautifully presented, well-prepared, and delicious. Unfortunately, the set menu had very few vegetarian options, but the restaurant was accommodating and allowed me to customize my meal on the second night. While the hotel is older and the pool area is somewhat worn, the stunning garden location more than makes up for it. It was lovely to take evening strolls around the grounds. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay.

I purchased a spa break for my partner's birthday and was a bit apprehensive after reading some reviews. However, I had nothing to worry about. Our room was stunning, the surroundings were absolutely lovely, and the treatments we received were incredibly relaxing. Our dinner and breakfast were delightful, and the staff were very friendly. The only area that could use some improvement is the spa facilities; they could benefit from a bit of rejuvenation. Additionally, the wait times for dinner were a bit long (though it was a busy evening). Still, this didn’t negatively impact our stay. Thank you so much! We would definitely return.
