You have to go to this place it was not what I was expecting from the outside . I was shocked with how good the donuts ,cake and coffee were.
So..I haven't been to this place since it opened in the early 80s. It was a busy place back then...always a line up. Over the years it has changed hands and become a hang out for junkies. So my wife I tried it to see how it actually is. We both had breakfast. My coffee was good and cheap, same for my wife's hot chocolate, very rich which was nice. The breakfast was inexpensive at $6. Was served on Styrofoam plates and plastic utensils...not a big deal..I get why based on some clientel. I probably wouldn't order the breakfast again..it was ok at best. However...the donuts were superb and the baked goods in the display looked great...and for a very reasonable price. Many of the folks inside were very friendly and just the people you would expect at a donut shop. I hope the owners continue to upgrade and improve this establishment, I'll definitely be back for coffee and donuts.Parking: Large parking lot, always ample spots to park your vehicle
I hadn't visited this restaurant since it opened in the early 80s and it used to be busy with long lines. Over the years, it changed ownership and became a place frequented by drug users. However, my wife and I recently decided to give it a try. We both ordered breakfast. My coffee was good and cheap, and my wife's hot chocolate was rich and satisfying. The breakfast was reasonably priced at $6 and served on Styrofoam plates with plastic utensils, which was understandable given the clientele. The breakfast itself was just okay. However, the donuts were excellent and the baked goods on display looked tempting and were also reasonably priced. The people inside were friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere. I hope the owners continue to improve the establishment, as I will definitely return for coffee and donuts in the future. The restaurant has a large parking lot with ample spaces available.
