We had arranged to meet for breakfast. After we took our seats (which had been assigned to us!!! , we were told to leave the restaurant because there weren't enough seats for hotel guests. For a public restaurant that advertises breakfast so heavily on Schillerstrasse, this is simply unacceptable. I'm still waiting for an explanation from management. Tourists are certainly important, but locals come regularly. We certainly won't be coming back...
1. ADDRESS for a 7-course menu. Very diverse, well-designed. Everything's perfect.
The food was adequate. Piled high with side dishes and meat, and strange and inadequate interpretations of the side dishes (e.g., Caesar salad), it's not worth more than two stars. Unfortunately, the hospitality was lacking... and we won't even begin to talk about it. What a shame in this otherwise so friendly city..., what a waste of an evening.

Great food and service. Favourite restaurant in Weimar- in terms of food, service, ambience, and price.
A superb experience in the center of the city, in an elegant courtyard in front of Goethe's house. The quality of the ingredients is outstanding, the service friendly and professional, the selection of wines is very interesting. The deer with mushrooms and dumplings is pure perfection.
They didn’t accept the 10% voucher from the family hotel Alt Weimar saying “it’s holiday”. Otherwise decent place

We went to dinner on Friday night and were still entertained with a belly dance and snake appearance. the menu is as expected oriental, but there are also delicious pizza. The facility is coherent and the staff friendly, even the prices are perfect.
Once Orient and back Kult pubs, clubs and coffee houses there are many in Weimar, but how does it look with belly dance, water pipe and sounds of a thousand and a night? Most Weimars know what I mean. The Divan and thus the Schallersche Hof is probably one of the most cozy corners of the small cultural city. When you enter him, the journey begins. Widely superior fabric webs and very laboriously collected objects welcome the curious guest here. Manch asks: “Are we here on an oriental market?” And I mean, it's not that bad. In addition, among other things, the cosiness of Samowar, Turkish specialties such as Pite (Turkish Pizza) or the “big Alexander” (Döner-Teller), many salads and delicious green Feta Paste, olives, grilled Peperoni etc. I recommend a delicious Turkish red wine or as an alternative an independent peppermint tea. So if it's time for a change in our grey-brown Germany, just visit the Divan in Weimar.
If you love a thousand and a night, you're here! Delicious dishes at moderate prices in the oriental flair. On Friday until an advanced hour you can enjoy oriental music abdominal dance. Lace.
You can sit there in a cozy atmosphere either outside or inside. There is a wide range of Turkish-oriental dishes and many cocktails. The self-made fladen bread is really delicious! From Sunday to Thursday 22h-1h is oriental-hour, each cocktail is only 4.50€. You can also eat breakfast there daily from 10 hours. And after dinner you can still smoke some water pipe. There are also regular events such as abdominal dance evenings. I always felt the service as very nice and accommodating. And who has only a little time to eat goes into the divan belongings, snack next door, where there is a self-made dönerspieß and self-made fladen bread. All in all, the Divan offers an atmosphere of 1001 nights!

We had an enjoyable meal here. Service was a bit slow—they seemed understaffed. But otherwise we were very pleased. The baked goat cheese starter was superb! The marinated pork neck steak was quite good. My wife was a bit disappointed, though, with the carp, which...she thought was bland. Wide-ranging wine list. The server was just fine—he was over-stretched but perfectly friendly. Our one complaint is that he was too busy to be very helpful with wine selections, so we just made a stab at something, which turned out to be more fruit-forward than we wanted. A minor complaint.
Beautiful and very hospitable young staff serves us a well-cooked lunch. Nothing spectacular but eating in a beautiful outdoor seating area made it a treat.
It'll be fast! The restaurant was absolutely great. Very friendly staff and very good food and drinks. A little pricy, but absolutely worth it. Certainly my recommendation!
Just as any tourist hotspot, Weimar presents plenty of options for dining but not all of them necessarily good. However, there is real quality to be had and restaurant Erbenhof is a good example. Centrally located but slightly tucked away, the exterior of the restaurant...is encouraging with all the right visual cues. Unfortunately the interior is slightly off. Not by too much and it would be easy to remedy it with the removal of all of the red paint and an upgrade in the furniture. But don’t be deterred as outstanding Thuringian cuisine is on offer. First courses of Blattsalat and Rösti were a sign of good things to come. For our main courses we took the Mutzbraten and the Rostbrätel. They were a showcase for the complex and deep flavours that are a surprise for many visitors to the region. We finished with a Kübiskuchnen for pudding. Everything was outstanding. A delicious bottle of red from the local Weingut Eilfer, low in alcohol but not lacking in body or elegance. One minor annoyance was the price of a bottle of water which at €4.90 seemed rather excessive. However, the overall cost was reasonable and fair. Service was courteous, attentive and efficient. The apparent formality of the staff was tempered by warmth and good advice. A really first class experience and thoroughly recommended.
Despite there not being a wisp of moving air in the courtyard on a hot July evening, we had a very nice dinner. Located just off a main square you need to know where you’re going. Unlikely just to stumble upon it. Service was good...although it took a while for the first course to arrive. We both started with the house mixed greens salad with a light mustard vinaigrette topped with grapes and honeydew melon. Very tasty. For mains I had the meat dumplings with capers and caper herb sauce. Sides included excellent mashed potatoes and beets. My companion had salmon trout and his sides includes mixed sautéed root vegetables and the mashed potatoes. A very satisfying meal for a reasonable price washed down with a cold Hefeweizen and Selters water.
