this bistro is popular with cyclists because it lies in quite short distance to wickrath, awayberg, Rhinedahlen and grandeur. the card is appealing, the dishes are partly quite expensive. but there is a warm kitchen throughout. in the summer you can sit on the meadow, but the waiters then have far away and you need geduld. Ordered Hot apple strudel but the pastry inside was 100% raw and outside covered with cinnamon to make it look Brown Backed when I mentioned it to the waitress the response was .... she asked the other guests at the table well did you like the strudel ? and no other response. that was really a one-off visit never again ... there was no other response or even an answer on my reclamation .. bad for a gastronomic restaurant that doesn 't follow up reclamations from the customers.
Even if the service has become somewhat changeable again, sometimes not so super-friendly and sometimes not so fast, eating is still still quite good here (baguettes, chicken and pork as well as salads) and that too very reasonable praise. for a little longer time, there are now also pommes here, as it really recommends everything. Last time I even had some baked fish (on a Friday) and also this was very tasty and recommended. especially important to me: here is the great espresso Krokant-Eis by mövenpick, which you don't get as a private person and for which I have always had to go to the düsseldorf airport or to the centro in oberhausen. Now there are these great sorts so, even quite cheap, right here around the corner. great! for the partly somewhat alternating service there is a point-department, therefore only 4 points.
