Since in the vicinity of Kevelaer and Weeze it is not easy to find restaurants with a slightly better kitchen and an attractive ambience, our expectations were high before our first visit.Location and premises of the restaurant have made a very well maintained impression on us. We enjoyed the style mix of modern elements and traditionally low-Rhine style. Also thanks to the very quiet and relaxed atmosphere there were only two more guests next to us present) we felt like at home.The service was very attentive and active throughout our stay. At no time we had to wait or felt badly looked after. The natural and very sincere hospitality has been remembered to us, which unfortunately is often difficult to find even in higher-priced restaurants.The food itself was tasty and appealing. The cook also took the time to greet each guest personally and to answer questions about the dishes. The regional and high-quality product use is positive to mention. However, given the rather above-average prices, I had expected a somewhat better technical implementation of the dishes, which unfortunately remained behind my expectations. This was particularly clear at Dessert, which in the best case was to be assessed as average.Everyone who likes to try something new in the region, places value on regional ingredients and high quality and is willing to spend a few euros more, we can highly recommend a visit to Vis-a-Vis. Arrivals from a distance of 50 kilometres) are not worth our assessment at the current time. Perhaps this will change when a new card is presented in spring.
