Was User at Steven's Cafe a mag?
I enjoyed the breakfast sandwich, and the macaroons were so delicious that I had to return for another order. I tried the citrus infusion drink, which was refreshing and cold, although I expected something a bit different based on its name. Overall, I was very satisfied and would definitely return if I'm in the area again. View all feedback.

What User dislikes about Steven's Cafe:
The egg sandwiches and coffees are quite good, but it's not really a place where you can sit back and savor your food or drink. The line often extends around the people sitting inside, and there are always smokers at the outdoor tables. It's a charming little shop in a fantastic location, but the quality can be inconsistent, so I would recommend taking your order to go. View all feedback.

Food is pretty mediocre, coffee is okay. Got the grilled panini and ham and cheese baguette, the former cold, with cheap American cheese. The latter, a soggy, at least day-old, 6-inch baguette with cheese still cold and not melted, no mayo or mustard as it should be. Felt hastily put together with zero integrity or standards or care for what is being served. With two coffees and a juice, the tab was $45. For that price, in that location and with what tries to be an upscale coffee shop, one would expect much, much better. You can get much better sandwiches at Starbucks and that’s not a good thing for the future of the local coffee shop. Food and coffee came out relatively quickly and staff was friendly and attentive. Absolutely not coming back.

The people who work here always look so angry and miserable. It’s really hard to enjoy the cafe with the workers always looking like they hate working there. Every time I make a small request like “extra toasted” bagel they give me a look of disdain and don’t even try to make my order like I asked. I understand people have personal lives with problems but would it hurt to smile just a little? I don’t even feel welcome when I’m there but instead feel like I’m disturbing them. What a shame because this cafe has so much potential but unfortunately it’s customer service really ruines the experience. I hope these workers find peace and happiness in life.

1. As others have mentioned, I didn't feel welcomed when I entered. 2. We weren’t informed about the 3% credit card surcharge ahead of time. Who still does that these days? 3. The food (I ordered the imperial panini) was just average and definitely not worth $12.50. Also, why wrap a panini with melted cheese in parchment paper? The paper mixed in with the cheese, so I had to pick it out. The same thing happened with my smoothie. It really wasn't worth the price! They claimed to use almond milk, but I couldn't taste any in my berry smoothie. It felt like just water, ice, and some frozen berries. So yeah, definitely not worth it.

Ordered some breakfast with a friend. Her wrap was almost all tortilla and dried eggs and brown avocado. My sandwich had dry eggs as well. Like they were cooked prior and just reheated. Our coffees tasted watered down as well. Not worth the 20 dollars.

Nestled in a vibrant locale, this café offers tempting egg sandwiches and coffee that impress but lacks the charm for a leisurely visit. Patrons often find long lines and an outdoor area plagued by smoking patrons. While some enjoy the fresh bagels and flavorful macaroons, many criticize the inconsistent quality and underwhelming service. High prices paired with average food leave visitors feeling unsatisfied. Amidst friendly yet disengaged staff, diners seek a welcoming atmosphere that remains elusive. Ideal for grab-and-go orders, this spot is best for those in transit rather than those seeking a leisurely café experience.
