At this Subway location, guests report a blend of frustration and satisfaction. While many criticize the stingy portions, especially regarding meat and toppings, others laud the friendly and professional service. Complaints about a lack of customer engagement and issues with mayonnaise portions create an underwhelming dining experience. Meanwhile, some customers have enjoyed their meals, particularly meatball subs, and appreciate the cleanliness of the atmosphere. With prices hovering between $10 to $20, the overall quality remains inconsistent, leaving patrons yearning for better service and food offerings typical of the Subway chain.

Was User at Subway a mag?
The service was excellent. My server was extremely polite and professional; I believe her name was Kaylie. I would definitely return. The atmosphere was very clean and the environment felt welcoming. View all feedback.

What User dislikes about Subway:
subway. worst small portion meat and terrible customer service. I asked for a little mayo, just one line, and drowned in it. if the younger high school girls work their ok, but if the owners are behind the theke, they don't bother. I'd rather get out of the mcdonalds Putnam subway than eat in the dudley again. View all feedback.

--- **Takeout Meal Type:** Lunch **Price Range per Person:** $10–$20 **Food Rating:** 4/5 **Service Rating:** 5/5 **Atmosphere Rating:** 3/5 I recently ordered takeout for lunch and had a great experience overall. The food was impressive, receiving a solid rating of 4 out of 5. Everything was flavorful and well-prepared. The service stood out the most, earning a perfect 5 out of 5. The staff was friendly and efficient in handling my order. The atmosphere was a bit average, with a rating of 3 out of 5, but since it was takeout, it didn’t impact my experience much. I would definitely recommend this place for a satisfying lunch at a reasonable price! --- Let me know if you need any adjustments!

1. **No Coupons Accepted**: They refuse to accept any Subway coupons, which is highly frustrating. The days of the "5 Dollar Footlong" are long gone, and now you’ll pay anywhere from $8 to $15 for a footlong. Many Subway locations happily accept Buy One Get One free coupons, but not this one. They won’t even accept a $2 off coupon. Honestly, I refuse to pay full price of $12 for a sub that tastes like cardboard with lackluster vegetables and meat you’d be hard-pressed to find in a high school cafeteria. If I have to settle for subpar food, I shouldn’t have to pay more than I would at a decent made-to-order sub shop. 2. **Service Issues**: The staff here seem either rude, apathetic, or just shy. It feels like they have this attitude of, "We know we need customers, but we can’t help but dislike them." I get that a mediocre review like this won’t make them love their job any more, but come on, at least try to smile! 3. **Lack of Toppings**: The toppings are incredibly stingy. Five pickle slices on a footlong simply don’t cut it. If I ask for "extra pickles," receiving seven instead of five on a 12-inch sandwich is just absurd. What’s the harm in adding a few more olives or cucumber slices? If they generously piled on some cheap lettuce, pickles, and spinach, it might distract from the poor quality of the meat and the overall skimpy portions. To top it off, the $3 addition for guacamole is laughably meager. Overall, I’m being generous by giving this place a 3-star review, likely more like 2 stars in reality. If they accepted coupons and didn’t skimp on the veggies, I wouldn’t even mind the lack of small talk or warmth from the staff. After all, it’s Subway — one of America's most mediocre yet consistently available sandwich options. I'm not expecting gourmet quality like White Horse subs or even the standards of Jimmy John’s. But if you're going to serve subpar food, at least honor the coupons that the chain offers! Cheap, cheap, cheap!
