At this point, my partner and I were really hungry! The bartender (who I believe is the owner) apologized and explained that they were briefly overwhelmed. While I understand this happens, it was truly unacceptable. We decided to cut our losses, pay for our drinks, and leave. Just as we were getting ready to go at 8:00 PM, the charcuterie board finally arrived, but it was far too late. We completely understand that small businesses are struggling to find staff post-COVID, but this restaurant had advertised a special on crab legs from Florida that night, so it makes you wonder if they were really short-staffed in the kitchen. Additionally, the restaurant was not even full. It’s disappointing to say that we can’t recommend this place, especially since we were excited to discover a new, fun spot. I wouldn’t have mentioned the food at all since we didn’t get to taste it, but the wait was truly unacceptable.
