Lakehouse - Webster
Lakehouse
Description
The restaurant has a cozy ambiance with a fireplace, perfect for a winter visit. The service received mixed reviews, with some praising the host's efforts to make up for delays while others found issues with the food. The lobster roll and scallops fell short in taste and texture for some diners, while the shrimp cobb and mac and cheese were highlights. The atmosphere was consistently rated 5 out of 5, with views of the lake being a major draw. The menu offers a variety of dishes, with the hummus appetizer, haddock with lobster sauce, and crab cakes being particularly recommended. The restaurant also caters well to dietary restrictions, including gluten-free options. Overall, while there were some inconsistencies in food quality, the lovely views, good service, and charming atmosphere make it a worthwhile dining experience.

Haddock could be a bit softer. Tina could be a bit more spicy (it says chili on the menu after all). Overall the food tastes quite good. I do like that there are some lobsters in the Haddock dish. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Gluten free options, great staff, great drinks. Food presentation and the atmosphere are divine. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free buns and they are well informed and patient about allergy protocol. It isn't a strictly gluten free kitchen but they will adjust. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Prime Rib Sandwich
The atmosphere I love the ambience of this restaurant. it was a cozy looking restaurant. it has a fireplace which would probably be very welcomed in the wintertime.ambience was 5 out of 5. the service: we placed our order online and it said it would be ready by 8pm. i arrived at 8:10 and the food was not ready. i was okay with this because it meant that our food would be warm (i am optimistic : . the host at the front desk was very apologetic and even offered to get me a free drink at the bar (i am not a big drinker so i passed on that but it was appreciated . i give her a 5 for customer service. The food: I ordered the scallops. there was something a bit off on the taste. also the scallops were mushy. I decided it was beat NOT to finish them. i dont want to risk getting a stomach ache on seafood since i am traveling. 1 or 2 out of 5 the lobster roll seemed like the lobster was mixed in with canned tuna or something. i dont think it was all lobster. it was okay (3 out of 5 the crab stuffed artichoke was too cheesy tasting. it would have been better without all the cheese. it completely masks the flavors of the crab and artichoke. i give this a 2 out of 5 shrimp cobb definitely has frozen shrimp which i thought was okay. of all the dishes we tried tonight this was one of the better ones. it is a bit spicy ️ 3 out of 5 the mac and cheese had high expectations from my son. he loves mac and cheese. his response was “not-bad” he gave it a 4 out of 5. so this probably turned out to be the best dish we ate tonight. it is too bad to; this restaurant seems like it has so much potential being a great restaurant on the waterfront. would i eat here again ? Hummaybe go for a nice drink while watching the view. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
