The sushi here is the best I have ever had - the rice is always perfectly soft and moist. The owners are also incredibly friendly and welcoming. Suki, in particular, is one of the most genuine and lovely people you will ever meet. My entire family adores this restaurant and we love coming here regularly.

The shrimp and sweet potato tempura is delicious, with a variety of tasty dishes included in the meal: miso soup, salad, rice, sushi rolls, dumplings, dressing, and more. I also ordered the mackerel and eel sushi, which was the freshest and best I've ever had in Rochester. They have a wide selection of Japanese food products to choose from as well. The young man who prepares the meal is very polite and helpful with food items. I will definitely be back soon to try more of their menu. Bento-Ya is a hidden gem in Webster, NY.

T... read more We were excited to try this restaurant and we were not disappointed! It is a charming small eatery offering a variety of delicious Japanese and Korean dishes. They also have an impressive selection of sushi for takeout only at the moment, but they plan to open for dining in soon. I especially appreciated that they included a mini salad with our meal. We will definitely be returning! Just be aware that they are closed on Tuesdays.
