It was my first time going to Cora on Saturday and I will definitely go again. Our server, Kylie recommended the Gigi omelette and cocktail to us and it tasted delicious! Along with the food, the service made it a memorable experience. She took the time to be attentive and hospitable towards us which made it an exceptional dining experience. Keep up the amazing work! What Ferly P doesn't like about Cora Breakfast And Lunch:
Food was okay but the service wasn’t good. The host seated me to a seat facing the back counter/kitchen and left without saying anything. The server was nice enough but you can tell she was annoyed that she had to serve me. I felt so uncomfortable and unwanted. I just wanted a nice Sunday morning breakfast. I had already ordered so I didn’t want to be rude and just leave. I tipped a little bit for the kitchen but not... View all feedback.
I nearly finished my brunch when I discovered that the strawberry was rotten and the banana was also past its prime. When I voiced my concerns while checking out, the manager informed me that Cora's policy only allowed her to offer a complimentary cup of hot chocolate valued at $3 or more. This wasn't about the money for me; it was my first experience with stale food at a Canadian restaurant, which was disappointing.
There are countless breakfast and brunch places out there now, and over the years, the menu items have become more diverse and flavorful. At Cora’s, the flavors are fairly simple and conventional, yet I still enjoy the dining experience. The food at this location is always well-prepared, and the service is consistently good. If I need to grab a meal right after work, this restaurant is convenient and always open. I want to take a moment to praise the restroom; it looks and smells clean, so kudos to the management for maintaining high standards. During my last visit, I tried a limited-time item, the Hot Chicken Skillet, and I appreciate how Cora’s continues to experiment and introduce new dishes. While it's nothing extraordinary, I have no complaints about my orders, so I would say this restaurant meets my expectations quite well.
The portion sizes may be a bit small for the prices, but the food is absolutely delicious and the service is top-notch.
The food was satisfactory, but the service was lacking. The host seated me at a table facing the back counter and kitchen, then walked away without speaking to me. While the server was polite, it was clear that she wasn’t enthusiastic about attending to me. This made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome, especially since I was just looking forward to a pleasant Sunday morning breakfast. Since I had already placed my order, I didn't want to be rude and walk out. I left a small tip for the kitchen but chose not to tip for the service. Overall, I cannot recommend this restaurant.
This is one of the top places for breakfast in Mississauga. They have a wide selection of options, such as omelets, French toast, crepes, and pancakes. I strongly recommend it!
