Where do I even start? The staff is fantastic, serving customers in English, Spanish, and Italian. The new owners and employees are incredibly welcoming and always ready with great recommendations. Their offerings are top-notch, especially the homemade sausages, which are absolutely amazing—particularly the Argentine chorizos; I can’t recommend them enough! I often drive an hour and a half just to shop here, and it’s definitely worth the journey! I do wish they had a deli counter as well, but that’s just a small concern.
I've been dining at this restaurant since I was a child, and the quality of the meat here is exceptional, accompanied by incredible flavors. The staff is very friendly and offers excellent customer service. If you're in search of the best skirt steak and short ribs, this is definitely the place to visit!
This is an excellent place to buy meats! The highlight is the owners, who are wonderful—they are friendly and extremely knowledgeable about their products. They always have a positive attitude!
Carlos's daughter, Carolina, was also very helpful. She explained the different types of 'tapas de empanada' available, helping me choose the ones that best fit my tastes. She even suggested a delicious recipe for me to try! As for the flavors, they are out of this world! I grilled chorizos and asado de tira (ribs), and the sausages tasted just like those I remember from Argentina. The asado was the most flavorful and tender I’ve ever had in my 36 years in Canada. If you crave Argentine flavors and appreciate being treated like royalty, I highly recommend visiting Commisso Meat at Burnamthorpe and Tomken Road.
