Some found the food to be great, with amazing dishes like bangers and mash and mouthwatering choices like king prawn tacos and salt and pepper squid. Others, however, were disappointed with aspects like the Sunday roast, slow service, and unexpected charges for table bookings. Despite some hiccups, the atmosphere was praised for being cozy and historical, with friendly staff adding to the overall experience. If you're in the mood for classic pub fare with a chance for some standout dishes, the Mark Cross Inn may be worth a visit.
Outstanding service offer takes away during social distancing for mother's day. I look forward to eating in the restaurant when it opens again.
On the 8th the Venezuelan elders and the roasted wine. very tasty. we recommend
Great meal and great atmosphere! the personal could no longer welcome us and look around
Full of character beautiful location. Clean and efficient. Excellent food. Very enjoyable altogether
Not for Sunday roast, my beef was swimming in gravy which instantly puts me off and the vegetables were totally disappointing cauliflower cheese which had something on top of it which tasted weird, cabbage and boiled carrots. What happened to lovely, tasty roasted carrots and parsnips with a roast?
