A delightful place to stay and eat. The food is exceptional, the are rooms clean, comfortable beds, and the service is excellent, definitely worth a visit, and will certainly go again.

We visited for pre Christmas meal and overnight stay and, as always, we had an excellent meal. We have been coming to Crossways regularly since they opened and David and Clive have never let us down. Every course is an adventure, beautifully presented and served...with care. It is a joy to get a selection of vegetables to complement the main course (not the tiny portion served in many restaurants) and the puddings never disappoint. The house wines have changed since our last visit, both Portuguese, a region we have not explored before and both the white and red were excellent. We look forward to our next visit in March.

Was lucky enough to eat here last weekend. My first visit and it did not disappoint . Absolutely faultless food and service . Was made to feel extremely welcome and felt very looked after . Possibly the best meal I have ever eaten . Can't...wait to go back .

Having spent our wedding night here 13 years ago it's taken us this long to come back for an anniversary meal! But we left it too long, and now intend to come back at least once a year! Being caterers ourselves food and drink is our specialist subject and favourite pastime, and what we loved about Crossways was far more than just exceptional food. You can tell that they put their heart and passion into everything. Brilliantly fancy food without poncy service or intimidating price lists. Little touches such as home made canapé, soup course, free top up of coffee petit fours just adds to the experience, making it totally worth the £41 per head for a set menu. A really refreshing change from any other restaurant that we've been to, a unique experience, and with only 6 tables you really feel like an individual rather than just a punter. Lovely people, lovely feel about the place. Almost impossible to catergorise, which is its charm without a doubt. A restaurant with HEART.
